1. Focus and Scope

Basilius Eirene: Jurnal Agama dan Pendidikan accepts original research articles and literature reviews in the fields of:

  • Theology
  • Christian Religious Education

2. General Requirements

  1. Manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under review in other journals.
  2. Manuscript is written in Indonesian or English.
  3. Length: 4000-7000 words including references.
  4. Use Template of Basilius Eirene: Jurnal Agama dan Pendidikan (Download HERE).
  5. File format: Microsoft Word (.docx).

3. Manuscript Structure

A. Title: Max 14 words, clear, no abbreviation, Times New Roman 14 Bold Center.

B. Author Identity: to be completed in accordance with the OJS metadata.

C. Abstract: 150-200 words, one paragraph. Must contain: purpose, method, results, conclusion. Include 3-5 keywords.

D. Main Structure: IMRAD

  • INTRODUCTION: Background, research gap, literature review, research question, objective.
  • METHOD: Research design, participants, data collection, data analysis.
  • RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Present findings systematically, discuss with relevant theories and previous studies (last 5 years).
  • CONCLUSION: Answer research questions, contribution, limitation, recommendation for future research.

E. References: Minimum 20 references, 80% from last 5 years, primary sources (journal articles). Use APA 7th Edition. Use Mendeley / Zotero.

F. Bible Verse: Use standard format: (John 3:16). Version: LAI-TB.

4. Citation and Reference Format (APA 7th)

Journal Article:

Smith, J. (2022). Theology of education. Journal of Religion, 10(2), 45-60.

Book:

Brown, P. (2021). Christian Education in Digital Era. Eerdmans.

Bible is not included in reference list, only in-text citation.

5. Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts will be checked using Turnitin / iThenticate. Maximum similarity: 20%. If more than 20%, manuscript will be returned to author. Author must paraphrase and re-submit.

6. Submission Steps in OJS 3

  1. Register and Login to OJS Basilius Eirene: Jurnal Agama dan Pendidikan.
  2. Click New Submission.
  3. Step 1 Checklist: Check all submission checklist and agree to copyright.
  4. Step 2 Upload Manuscript: .docx file.
  5. Step 3 Enter Metadata: Title, abstract, keywords, authors, references.
  6. Step 4 Confirmation: Finish submission.

7. Article Processing Charge (APC)

Submission: Free
Publication: Free / Rp IDR 200.000 - Will be informed after accepted. No fee for review process.

8. Publication Timeline (6 Months)
