Kesakralan Hidup Manusia dalam Teologi Kristen: Strategi Pencegahan Bunuh Diri Berbasis Agama

Penelitian ini menyajikan analisis teologis mendalam mengenai doktrin Kristen tentang kesakralan hidup sebagai fondasi untuk strategi pencegahan bunuh diri. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis literatur kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dasar-dasar doktrinal yang menolak tindakan bunuh diri, sekaligus mengidentifikasi peran konstruktif agama dalam mitigasi krisis kesehatan mental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empat pilar teologis—Imago Dei (manusia sebagai gambar Allah), bunuh diri sebagai dosa perusakan ciptaan, kedaulatan ilahi atas kehidupan, dan natur komunal manusia—membentuk kerangka kerja yang kuat. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya ketegangan dialektis antara penghakiman doktrinal dan belas kasihan pastoral. Di satu sisi, doktrin menegaskan kesucian hidup; di sisi lain, pengalaman penderitaan ekstrem menuntut respons empatis yang melampaui kutukan yuridis. Signifikansi penelitian ini terletak pada kontribusinya untuk memetakan topografi teologis yang kompleks ini, menawarkan sebuah model pastoral yang berakar pada ortodoksi namun bersifat inklusif dan berbelas kasihan, serta memperkaya diskursus tentang peran agama dalam kesehatan publik.
