Kajian Teologis Injil Terapeutik dalam Perspektif Iman Kristen dan Kontrasnya dengan Injil Kerajaan Allah berdasarkan Alkitab

Jurnal ini mengeksplorasi secara kritis fenomena "Injil Terapeutik" (Therapeutic Gospel) dalam konteks iman Kristen. Injil terapeutik adalah varian kontemporer dari pengajaran Injil yang menekankan pemenuhan kebutuhan emosional, psikologis, identitas, harga diri, dan kebahagiaan individu sebagai pusat pesan. Kajian ini menelusuri asal, bentuk-bentuk, dan implikasi Injil terapeutik; membandingkannya dengan injil kerajaan sorga yang diajarkan oleh Yesus Kristus dan rasul-rasu, serta melakukan eksegesis terhadap beberapa teks kunci dalam Perjanjian Baru yang mendefinisikan injil yang benar. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Injil ini menyimpang dengan memusatkan pesan Injil pada kesejahteraan psikologis, self-esteem, dan kebahagiaan saat ini, sehingga justru seringkali mengabaikan panggilan pertobatan radikal dan otoritas Kristus sebagai Raja. Oleh sebab itulah diketemukan bahwa injil terapeutik mengandung bahaya penyimpangan doktrinal dan praktis, melemahkan panggilan untuk pertobatan, mendorong individualisme, meniadakan dimensi kosmik kerajaan Allah bila dibandingkan dengan injil kerajaan sorga yang menuntut pertobatan, iman, ketaatan, dan harapan akan penegakan penuh kerajaan Allah di masa depan.
